    Default MEP Blog Launched

    Revit MEPers,
Just wanted to give myself a shameless plug and tell you that I've recently launched my Autodesk Blog, Inside the System. It will cover MEP topics and Sustainability, as well as a number of other things involving new technology in the AEC industry.

Feel free to let me know what you think, and please reply with any potential topics you'd like me to cover.

    Cheers,
    Kyle B

Very nice Kyle .... it looks like you are legit ... the real deal... LOL

I like the The Quest for Content blog ... very happy to see you guys are looking outside of AutoDesk to get the product ahead of the other guy.

Nice to see a resource for MEP specific families. Sites like RevitCity are nice, but they are almost entirely geared towards architecture.

Some topics which would be nice to see:

    - Advanced mechanical connectors, and their coordination within systems.
    - Lighting Calcs!
    - Custom family creation.

The documentation is kind of non-existent when it comes to MEP family specifics (outside the basics) and it would be nice to see some insight from a developer on how everything "should" work.

I just published a new post on my Blog that's the first part of a series on Connectors and their usage. I hope this starts to cover the info you requested in your first list item.

As I said earlier, I'm taking requests here. Much of the reason I have started my blog is to get critical information out to you all, so you can be successful with Revit MEP.

Quick question to those of you on the forums, are you finding the videos I'm posting helpful? Is there anything you think I could do better to make the information more useful?

    TIA,

    I like the videos also.

(Perhaps you should start a new thread with a poll?)
