Default VIZ 2008 installation keeps dying at Backburner stage

    Hi everyone,

Has anyone had an issue with installing VIZ 2008? I'm trying to load a deployment I've created, but it keeps dying at Backburner which doesn't load either. I'm trying to create a Network License deployment.

    Thanks,
    Jim

I have been experiencing the same problem. The issue is not related to the glitches with the DVD installer. The problem is with an existing installation of Backburner on the target computer.

The solution that worked for me was to simply uninstall the existing instance of Backburner (in my case it was installed with Viz 2007) and then run your network deployment for VIZ 2008.
