Arrow Missing Features in an .IDW

I am placing a part onto an .IDW to show to a plastic mold manufacturing company tomorrow. When I placed my part onto the sheet, some of the features do not show up in the "hidden line" and "hidden line removed" views, but are shown in the "shaded" option. In the "hidden line" and "hidden line removed" views, they show up in every view except for the top view, which is where I need them to show up. I will explain how the specific features are oriented:

There is a tapered tube perpendicular to a flat surface. To keep the tube stable enough to hold the weight that will be on it, I have four ribs at 60 degrees from the flat surface. They are full ribs, intersecting with the tube and the flat surface, solid down to the intersection between the tube and flat surface. Think of a toilet paper tube standing on a table with four paper footballs holding it in place. Because this will be made of plastic, the ribs have face drafts on them, and *every* edge and intersection of features is rounded (filleted).

When I place a "Top" view on the .IDW (essentially, the only view where the tube would look like a circle) the ribs do not show up at all. It's because there are no corners anymore, and the vertical faces are no longer vertical because of the draft. Is there any way to make this show up? I can't plot shaded parts b/c of the plotter we have, and it would do me no good to do so - I need to dimension how wide the ribs are, and what angle they are in relation to the center of the tube.

    Help!!!

If I follow you need to show Tangent Edges.
    Double click on the view.
Click on the Display Options tab.
If it is a projected view uncheck Style from base in the lower right corner.
    Checkmark Tangent Edges.
    Click OK.

I am shocked that it was that simple....I spent two hours on the phone with the people who sold me the software, and the techs there that teach users how to use Inventor couldn't help me, even after I sent them the part.

    Thank you!
