    Default MVParts Library

My company (a mechanical & plumbing co.) is just switching over to AMEP 2008, and I was wondering if there was a website or something that users can download/upload MVParts for use in MEP? I'm not sure if cben.net has anything like this or if there's another website. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have been looking into this too (we just switched to MEP 08 ). So far all I have been able to find is a few Carrier rooftop units and a bunch of Kohler stuff:

    http://www.marinsoft.net/partdrop/ht...r&custom=false
    http://www.marinsoft.net/partdrop/ht...er&custom=true

I have also created a few mvparts of my own, which took a while at first, but looks like it won't be so bad with some practice.

Yeah, we found the same site. Guess it's time to start creating them on a piece by piece basis.

Also found out Victaulic has a nice library, if you want to check it out.

I didn't know about Victaulic, thanks!

If you would like the Trane Precedent 3-10 Packaged Gas/Electric rooftops let me know and I will try to figure out how to e-mail them to you.

You could always post it in the parts forum

Buzz - if you could either post them or send them to me that would be awsome. I'm already creating some parts as well and I'll post them to the site also.

    Hi kmf2797

Please note I have *moved* this thread from the AMEP 2008 General forum to this one, as I believe it will be better served here.

    Thanks, Scott Telthorst

I uploaded some mvparts at http://www.geniusoftllc.com

I will continue to upload blocks there as I create them...

    Buzz,
Thanks for the help. I'll send any blocks I create your way.

    kmf2797,

Sounds good, if you have any trouble creating them let me know, I have come across a few "work-arounds"...
