Is there a way to do a walkthrough that shows all the materials as you would see them when the drawing is actually rendered?

Yes - when you have selected the export Walkthrough option in the File Pulldown menu, at the bottom of the Save-As dialogue box there is an area for you to specify the Model Graphics Style that you prefer. The last option in that selection set is <Raytracing>. The Render Scene Setting dialogue box will appear. I suggest that you go through your walkthrough path and render some still images using a Scene Setting to make sure everything will appear correctly. The animation of course will take a while to produce depending on your raytrace settings and model complexity. Good luck!
