Default Revit MEP Content Extension Released

I wanted to throw up a quick post to let everybody know that we have just released our Revit MEP Content Extension on our website. I know this has been eagerly awaited by those of you in our user-base, and we are excited to add on to our existing catalog.

As I've talked about previously, we need more content for users to be successful. In an effort to support that end, we've produced this content to fill some existing gaps in available content. There's more content that needs to be built, but this is a step in the right direction from my perspective.

    Go get it!
    Kyle B

    Thanks Kyle...

I downloaded the file and started to extract it and got this message (see attached jpg) after I click okay, the install disappears.

Are others having the same problem?

Unzip it to another location and then move to the existing library location, the file name is too long. I don't know how I missed this when I tested it...We'll have to fix this ASAP. My apologies.

I downloaded it yesterday. I'm going through my content creation list to see how many families this content drop took care of.

Thanks to the Autodesk content creation team & Kyle!

First off I just want to say that we at my office are very grateful for the new content, it is going to help out a ton when we start our next project. But only 15 families out of 322 for electrical and none for technology, what a disappointment. I understand the other trades needed it more and I am all for that and I know the hvac and plumbing guys at my office are very happy to get the boost in content its a big step from what they had, I just hope next time electrical and technology get a little more attention. But again thank you.

I',m sorry to hear that you didn't get what you wanted. Have you specifically posted on my [Request for Feedback] threads with the electrical content you think would be most useful?

    Cheers,
