Masking Text

Does anyone know how to make your text mask lines behind them in Impressions? I currently am trying to figure out some things in the Demo version and the one thing I cannot figure out is how to do that.

Example:
I have text on top of lines representing decking in AutoCAD which I have masked behind the text. When I import the dwg into Impressions my text is no longer masking.

Does right clicking and bringing the text layer to the front not work?
