I linked an architectural file but I can't see the walls I checked the visibility graphics and everything seems fine. can some one please guide me as to where else do I need to look.
I'm sure is somthing really simple but I just can find it. thanks.

Try going into the Visibility Graphics again (shortcut key VV or VG)
Then Go to the Revit Link Tab
Under the Display Settings Column, select the By Host View Button
Then change the settings from By Host View to either By LInked View or Custon...
Then within the RVT Link Display Settings Dialogue box, after selecting custom for the basics tab, then select custom for the Model, Annotation, and Import Categories Tabs as well. This will turn on all the architectural linked file objects. From their you can select what you what to see and not see...

Another possibility might be the "discipline" setting of your current view. If your view discipline is set to "Structural" then architectural walls won't be visible. You may need to switch your view discipline to "Coordination" which should show you all the walls. (both structural and architectural)
