Thread: New session when opened from Windows explorer.

    Default New session when opened from Windows explorer.

    Hey Guys, when I click on a file in Windows explorer to open it start a new session of Autocad. Any Ideas on how to make it stay with the same session?
    I am running LT 2008

    does your autocad can work multiple drawing files in one autocad session? or it just works for one single files? ( the current session has to close to open other file), if so ..maybe setting variable of single document interface has changed to value 1(on), to fix this, set the variable SDI to 0 (off).

    hi j parker70. the problem is on open with program in explorer, if you choose "Auto Cad LT application" so they make new session if we klick the file in explorer, so if you want to use the same session (one session) you may choose "Auto Cad DWG Launcher".and may if you want to make is permanently mark the option "almays use the selected program to open this kind of file."
