Default Put a script on a tool palette

What is the easiest way to get a script onto a tool palette? I created a new command in the CUI and put that on the palette and it works, but seems to be a lot of contortions for what is supposed to be drag-and-drop functionality.

We already have "drag and drop". Drag from Explorer/My Computer and drop into the acad graphics screen.
    And I agree with you.

I just use tool bars when I want to load a script or so.... makes it easier just to hit a button
