Default create a bom in Acad Mechanical

    Hello,
I'm trying to transfer the bom of old drawings to a proper Mechanical one.
I'd like to know if it's possible to create an "ACMPARTREF" without striking the keyboard.
    I've made some research with
    (command "_ampartref" aPoint..)
But I get every time a dia to fill. Any idea?
    Thanks

Take a look at system variables FileDia and CMDDia.
Usuall changing one of those will cause the Command line version to be used.
Also try adding a hyphen (command "_-ampartref" aPoint..)

    I don't have Mechanical so I can't try it.

Thanks for the answer but ..no. It's a build-in dia.
The command of mechanical are not derivated from Autocad so the "_" and "." don't have any effect or simply don't exist.
I wish they had implemente both, a function with dia and one without one. So I could use the second in a macro.
Actually an amPartRef is not a standard entity so the best way to play with it is using vlisp.

I guess I could try to: put an AmPartRef in a block, insert it and rename it.

    Thanks
