help, link between autocad drawing and excel sheet

i am working on a big project , in which having autocad drawing about 40 Mb size, and we have to use many layers. in that drawing we continously change the size ,text of the rooms (compartments) ,and position also , so it is very difficult to make that much large changes manually , is it possible that the changes we r doing in autocad drawing it automatically change in excel sheet. no i am not using third party tool. plz help
