    Default Grading Frequency

When creating grading is there a way to control the frequency or length of the segments it creates for the new feature line it creates? I sometimes use the grading to create a piece of a surface and then explode it to get to the feature line which then gets exploded once more for a polyline so I can connect it to another piece of polyline that gets draped onto a surface, but it doesn't always work right because it makes the polyline have too many vertexes on that polyline. ( I think I lost my caboose on that train of thought... ) I guess I'm wondering if there is a way to control the frequency the same way you control it in a corridor when you pull a feature line from the corridor.

I think I figured out part of it. I think it uses the frequncy of the vertex of the feature line you created from if it has more than 2 vertexes, but I'm not sure still how it knows if there are only two vertexes. I'm still researching this one.

If you have your grading group set to create an automatic surface in your Grading Group Properties you can set the tesselation spacing.

If you want it to create it based on the feature line from the beginning just add the vertices.
