    Default Split a table

Is it possible to split a table in such a way that it continues into a another table (ie. on the side of the original table)? I know this feature is possible in Revit - but I hope there is a way for AutoCAD also?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Hi

Please note I have *moved* this thread from the AutoCAD 2006 General forum to this one as I feel this particular Forum is a more appropriate place for such a topic.

    Thanks, Mike

    Hi

As far as I know (which means absolutely nothing) "no" such a feature is not a available using AutoCAD Tables.

    Have a good one, Mike

I love how I get moved to a forum that hasn't had a thread in over 30 days and is guaranteed not to get any other answers than yours. Thanks!

Hi "fletch97" (Sorry, I don't know your real name)

I have only moved your thread to the most appropriate forum as in the long term it will best serve the AUGI Community, I can assure you it is nothing personal against yourself.

Yes I agree it is quiet within this forum, but that is no reason not to use the most appropriate forum when posting... plus by posting in such forums will hopefully encourage others to do so and help build the AUGI Community.

Also please remember the AUGI Forums are a searchable database of information, and, like any database, the information stored inside is only as good as the information entered in the first place. Placing information in the most relevant and appropriate place will enable other forum users to get the most from the Forum Search facilities.

Lets wait and see if others will post within this thread before making such statements...

    Thanks for your understanding,

    Mike

    Hi

Just so you understand me moving this thread was nothing personal, the below comes from the "Forum Do's"

I understand your reasoning and appreciate your explanation!.....

Still doesn't help me out any faster and you know how everything is an emergency in the CAD world!

Don't mean to come off like a pain, just under pressure!

    Thanks Mike!

    Hi "fletch97"

Thanks for being so understanding, I greatly appreciate it.

You weren't coming "off like a pain", I just felt you deserved an explanation is all.

I totally understand "under pressure!" and definitely sympathize with you on that front.

Like I said above, I don't think Tables in AutoCAD offer that particular functionality.

    Hi fletch97,

Mike is right on this not being available. Would be a nice addition. Something to add to the Wishlist maybe?

PS When a new post or thread is made the forum is highlighted. So people will see it and check it out. There have already been 24 views in less then 3 hours. Thats not bad in my opinion.

Since AutoCAD doesn't have this feature.....has anyone created a custom program (lisp) to do such a thing?
