Default Balloon Notification for Unresolved Reference Files

Summary: An optional balloon notification for unresolved XREF's

Description: If a drawing is opened which has an unresolved xref, I would like to see a balloon notification pop-up.

How Used: Sometimes a missing xref isn't immediately apparent. This would give users a way to catch a potential problem before it is a problem.

    Feature Affinity: XREF

Missing xrefs are currently noted on the command line when you open a drawing.

Unfortuneately, when you have 20 drawings referenced and only five lines of text in the command window that goes by pretty fast. Even when trying to review the XREF loads in the expanded text window its easy to miss those that are unreferenced or missing.

As long as this pop-up is controlled through a registry-contained system variable and *not* a drawing based one, I think its a good idea.

So what are you picturing, a separate balloon for each unresolved xref, or a large single balloon to hold all of them, or a single small balloon with a vertical scroll?

I'm just trying to picture how this might work...

I'd have thought that the scroll idea would be the most sensible and the easiest to program.
Second thoughts = But then, I guess, you'd be no better off than by hitting F2.
