    Exclamation Unusual Problem with CUI

When I fired up Autocad today, I noticed that all my toolbars, pulldown menus etc were gone. I found out that the ACAD.cui file was missing from the documents and settings path. Actually the file size was set to 0. I have Registry Mechanic on my system and I did a clean up a few days ago, so I kind of suspect it may be the culprit.

This has happened twice now. I did a repair, with no luck. Has anyone seen this problem? BTW, I have Autocad Architectural so I jump between both applications, but I don't think that is causing the problem

    Could use some help here.

Used to see this all the time in 2006. I don't think I have run across this problem in 2008. I think the CUI is a little better behaved in 2008...

In fact, I used to run into this so often, I wrote a lisp routine to copy the 'virgin' copy of this menu from the \UserDataCache directory back into the users profile directory

Not ALWAYS, but about 90% of the time, this was reported to me "right after a crash of AutoCAD"...

Surely you are not putting your own customizations in Acad.cui? You at least have them in another CUI file that is loaded partially to Acad.cui, right?
