Default Converting Older Drawings to 2007/08

When opening the attached file in AutoCAD 2007/08, running "AUDIT" and "REGEN", the dimensions want to take on the existing style definition.

If you list the dimension before running the AUDIT you will notice that the "Dimesion style: is "" (aka nil).

Any idea's on how to stop this from happening and still be able to Audit the drawing?

I just created a new dimstyle, placed a new dimension using the new style and used "match properties" between the new dim and the "" style ones.
    Not elegant, but it worked.

    That would make a difference.

I'd try using a script to define the new dimension and make AUDIT the last entry.
