Default Flyby movie via jpg's - Edit after creation

I've created a nice little avi (that I'd be pleased to post here but it's 18+ Mb) and now I'd like to post process to slow it down. I made the avi from rendered jpg's via Slide Show Movie Maker & tried to set the frame rate there but it became very choppy if not set to 1.

I looked at Plug-ins for WMP but nothing pops up to suggest that it's what I'm looking for. I have a trial version of Ulead Video Studio but wondering if there isn't something simple & free.

This one is free, it works sometimes. The download is at the end of the page.

    There's a ringing endorsement

Just out of curiosity do any/all of these packages allow for removal of the frame counter as discussed here?

    Dimitri,

I think that the workaround (dreaded by some) for now is to create individual images and then compose the animation using one of these tools. The added benefit to this strategy is that if the computation ‘hangs’ you can pick up where it left off.

I found the Rad Video Tools very easy to use.

    I'm not following...

How does this remove the frame counter? And what specific Rad Video Tools do you use? If you have a minute to explain further, I would be very interested in understanding this work-flow.

A few things since I first posted this...

    1. Slide Show Movie Maker has a number of configurable items that aren't right up front, including Frames per Second and Output size in pixels. The FPS setting has
    solved all my problems.

    2. The walkthrough creation via JPG's: I ran a draft view with the output as [Hidden Line] and got the frame counter. The same output as [Rendered] removed the frame counter.

    3. I didn't try any of the other suggestions here since I got the SSMM to work.
