Slow cursor in drawing area

After upgrading to Civil 3D 2008 last month, I am having a problem with the cursor getting slowed up while working in the drawing area of both model space and paper space. I have disabled all hardware acceleration, turned off “selectionpreview” system variable, checked the snapmode setting, and rebooted. The cursor works fine in any other program and even within any dialog box while working in AutoCAD. The problem is occurring in any drawing and I even went back to C3D 2007 and the problem goes away in the exact same drawings. Anyone have any ideas on this? Thanks

Is it a Logitech mouse? I wonder if the first couple of search results here are of any help.

The mouse is a Logitech. I turned off a setting for "Enhance mouse precision" as my mouse settings did not quite match what was described in that article. Anyway, it seems to have worked. Thanks Steve.
