Summary: Control the phasing of an object from the options bar

Description: 'I wish' that it was possible to control the phasing of an object from the options bar, and control the view's phasing from the view control bar. (Maybe the same thing would work for design options??)

How Used: I believe that this would save a tremendous amount of time by removing the necessity to cycle thru dialog boxes to change the phasing of a project's elements.

There are many properties which should likewise be made easily accessible. Actually the whole "Properties dialog box" needs a complete overhaul, but in the meantime I agree that they should make phase quickly available on the options toolbar - we don't want to wait for the interface revamp. My vote would go for the next property available on the options toolbar would be the "Wall location line".

Brother I have been saying this for years! and yes phasing on the options bar is a good idea. I am curious what kind of icon they would come up with for that...

Phasing needs to be a timeline with slider controls at bottom of the screen. You could just slide the created date and demo date back and forth.... Copyright, Aaron Rumple 2008
