We have a new machine running Vista and Autocad \Civil 3D.
When we open a DWT file from our network, the program is extremely slow opening. If we change to a local version of the DWT, then it opens much faster. This happens with both Vanilla ACAD and C3D.
All of our other machines are running XP SP2 and have no problems opening the dwt files from the server.
Forgot to add, both of these are network versions of 2008 with a remote license server.

Once we move the DWT files local, both ACAD and C3D will open without any 'hang'.

Our DWT files have five layouts with the titleblock info set up as fields pulling project data (FYI)
