    Default Pier Rebar

I am trying to do pier details and model the ties and reinforcing in 3d. The problem I am having is with the tagging. The ties work okay (#3 @ 4" or whatever). But I can't figure out how to model the vertical bars as one unit. I can make rows of bars or single bars, then when I tag them they are all called out individually. What I want to do is point at one vertical bar and have the tag say "8-#6", instead of 4 tags that say "2-#6".

    Any ideas?

What I usually do is just make a row of bars & than rotate them to be vertical in an elevation view. That way they are not all individual bars. Don't know if that helps or not, always seems to work for me though.
