Project Navigator Constructs Problem

Hello,

I am relatively new to AutoCAD MEP and I am trying to add constucts
to the Project Browser.

My Arch background, struct., and electrical piping file (with arch xref) loaded fine.

The problem is when I try to load the equipment dwg (with arch xref) the
Save Current Dwg as Construct option is greyed out.

Any help much appreciated.

Hi Mike,

Is the Arch background and the arch xref you mention the same drawing? If so, check to see if the arch xref is overlayed in your construct and not attached. Project Browser doesn't like constructs to be attached into each other (causes problems with circular references). If that doesn't work post back and we'll try something else.

Thanks Stelhorst,

I don't know what happened but when I saved the equip dwg. as a different file
name, it loaded fine.

Now if I can only figure out the best way to do section cuts!
