Is there any way to delete &/or purge out 'OLD' page set ups from the Page Setup Manager list? Can this be done globally so that the 'old' set up will not be available for
any drawing, archived or newly created?

Page setups are stored in the dwg and/or template. To purge, you have to do it in each file. I have some utilities on the Exchange that take care of this. Basically, with them I don't worry about old setups. When I run across a bad one, I just click a single button and all old ones are replaces with the current ones from my template.
