Running Osnaps Stop working

I have a user that is trying to use the running osnaps in Civil 3D 2008 and they stop working. They are enabled but it just un-checks all the boxes that were checked in the dialog box. It doesn’t matter what drawing or command she uses it still happens. For them to start working again she has to go check the osnaps that she wants and then she can use them again for a little while then they turn off again. Does any one have any ideas?

Assuming this isn't a "feature" of C3D, you might give this a try.

The system variable you will want to monitor is OSMODE
