Batch Print for Revit not installing...

Has anyone else come across this yet?...

I have attached a screen shot of what happens when I try to install the new batch plot software... Basically it states that I need to install Revit for it to work and um what software is running in the back ground, Revit. Anyone have any thoughts?

Do you have the newest build of revit installed?

I know the phenomenon.
But to me it happened when I was installing the worksharing monitor.
after I had installed the batch print utility.
And yes, I am running the latest Built.
Support was able to reproduce it and they..........................................wil get back to me.

p.s. I suspected it was because I was running a non english windows xp pro, But I suspect you are not.

I've had the same issue. The batch plot install says it needs Revit to install...I've got MEP 20080101 ...I guessed it only worked on architectural?

Using Vista-64...maybe the issue is here?

I too am having the same problem and have the latest 20080101 build of Revit MEP 2008 installed on Windows XP Pro 32bit w/SP2. The installation completed successfully on machines with the latest build of Revit Structure 2008 on Windows XP Pro 32bit w/SP2. The Worksharing Monitor Extension installed successfully on both machines with Revit MEP and Revit Structure.

If you did get it to install with architecture or structure then you can simply add this to your revit.ini file for MEP

ECName1="Batch Print"
ECClassName1=Revit.PrintHarness.PrintHarnessAPI
ECAssembly1="C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Batch Print for Revit 2008\BatchPrint.dll"
ECDescription1="Print a large number of drawings with a batch job"

Be sure to change ECCount to the appropriate number of commands you have and change the number behind the EC lines above, so for example if you only had worksharing monitor and batch print installed it would look like this
