    Default Redefining Blocks

Anyone out there had a problem when trying to redefine a block and getting and invalid message. It appears that the block is referencing itself and so will not allow the function. Is there anyway to get around this problem as I need to be able to update on mass several hundred title blocks?

open up the block that you are trying to redefine and purge it to remove its reference to itself

I tried that but to no affect on it. You can see the problem with it

If the block with the same name as the file won't purge, it means there's an instance of that block inside the file. The easiest thing I've found to do is to RENAME the block inside the block file so its name inside the file is different from the actual filename. Works every time.

    (That's a hard sentence to type )
