Nested Detail Components

I am trying to keynote detail components nested in window and door families. I am not having any luck. I have checked shared in the window family but cannot keynote any of the sub-components, just the whole family. What gives?

I have not fully researched your question, but from the top of my head you have to click the shared box in the detail component. Then re-load it into the window family.

I am getting the message that a shared detail component cannot be loaded into a 3d family. Still cannot figure it out.

I too have experienced this and submitted the issue. I haven't heard if its been fixed.
