    Default Floor transitions...

I am wondering if there is a way to add a transition phase from a floor of two different thicknesses. i.e. from a 6" slab to a 4" slab....

You might look at the ramp tool. You're question is a little vague. Post back with more info if the ramp thing doesnt help.

Or you can create a Family in place, and using the solid extrusion create a floor the shape you want.

    Hey there,

If you want the bottoms to be level, the best way might be to add a third floor between the two and use the "variable" thickness feature, new to RAC2008, to slope only the top of the transition slab from the high slab to the low slab.

As an added bonus, you can use complex floor assemblies which will allow you to have the top of the slab be the only variable thickness, thus keeping your floor finish, bottom of slab and base course continuous between all of the different floors.

    Good Luck
    Steve
