    Default Programming question

I'm searching for a good lisp writing tutorial. ( *sigh* should have looked at the first post in the forum before posting...... )

basically what I want to be able do is create a cylinder on a layer.

eg Pi-Ef-2 layer for a 2 inch effluent pipe - the 2 inch pipe would be 2.375 inches in diameter, and the length would be entered aswell.

I have there are 4 layers for what type of pipe and the pipe diameter is from 2 inch to 24 inch.

is it possible to write up a program like that or would it just end up easier to manually do it.

and if possible, where would you recommend me going to start learning

    thanks in advance

After looking through afralisp and the other resources in the 1st thread, you should try something. If you get stuck come back here and I'm sure some of us would be able to help you out.

I've found that the absolute best resource is trial-n-error, there's no better teacher / resource in the world.
