Does anyone know what time the early registration starts? Is it 8/8/08 @ 12:00 pm EST or 8/8/08 @ 12:00 PST? Or some other time zone?

I don't know. I wish I did. I'm pretty excited about it. This will be my first year at AU!
I've got on my calendar 9pm 8/7/08....so that should mean 12am EST...
But last year it started the same time and it broke until morning anyway.....

Do they send out an email with the early registration link? I got the email that added it to my calendar, but not sure where to go to actually register early.
I have never recieved an email to add anything to my outlook, but I do have my reminder set to go off when I wake up friday morning. On second thought our spam filters are cranked up because of a major virus threat so that could be the problem as well.
I read about the network shutting down last year, but they have talked about quadrupling the bandwidth of the servers this time around. Hopefully that is enough.
I'm on the east coast. So i'll post on here right after I register
Supposedly you get an e-mail....

Anyone get the secret decoder email yet?
Historically speaking, they will likely send the email out sometime in the morning. After the mess they had last year I would imagine (at least I would do it this way) they may even wait until they get people at work to answer the phones at Autodesk (West Coast) before sending them out in order to meet the demand/rush .
I could be wrong, but that's my own guess. I will register on Friday, but it's important to remember you don't need to be the FIRST person to register... they will flex classes and make adjustments, you'll be able to (in most cases) get into every class you want to see even if it takes them a few days to make those adjustments. The only reason I'm signing up early is to get into the main hotel... waiting too long will mean you'll need to do a lot of walking to get to the event and perhaps get a room that isn't as nice.
