Default Single Screen / Dual Screen

    Good morning,

I have a Dual Screen configuration, and i find that sometimes dialog boxes such as the layer manager, get hidden on single Screen configurations.

Is there a way to have dialog boxes all show up on the single screen, even though they were moved on Dual Screen?

This does not happen with all dialogs.... only some. File open for instance correctly opens on the single screen Most of the Autocad properties, etc allways comes up correctly in the single screen, even after it was moved.

    Thankyou in advance.

    David

Set up your workplace for single monitor and save the workspace.
Do the same for dual screens and save the workspace as a different name.
You should be able to toggle between the two.

I run an ATI graphics card. I use their program called Hydravision. It lets you set up which monitor dialogue boxes snap to and other stuff. Maybe check your graphics card web site and see if they have the same?

To add to that ^^^, running two monitors from one card and running two monitors from two cards will give different possibilities. nVidia two-head cards also have management software.

Does that slow down your programs?

I have found that turning on certain features of an Nvidia Quadro FX series card
can make the cross hairs crawl.
