What is the best possible video card I can get to use with AutoCAD 2005? I have been given free reign and I can choose what I want. Well, I only want the best. Don't know if you need to know any computer stats but here you go.

Windows XP SP2
AMD Athlon XP 2100+
1.27 GHz
1GB RAM

get any of the PNY nVidia chip-set based Quadro
cards, and smile all day long, they all support
dual monitors, and have custom drivers for AutoCAD
and Viz and Max

Anyone using this card? What do you think of it?

I'm looking at the wildcat vp880 pro by 3D labs

and Nvidia's
Quadro4 980 xgl
Quadro FX 700
FX 1100
I would only be using these cards for Mid-range cad work using AutoCAD 2005. We will be slowly transitioning from 2D to 3D drawings over the next few years.

Right now I leaning toward the 3D labs wildcat but don't know much about the performance. I've used Nvidia's line of gaming graphics cards (not for CAD of course) and have been impressed, but don't know much about their workstation designed cards.

Right now I use the ATI FGL 8800 128MB and I am very unimpressed with its capabilities. So ATI is out of the question.

Any opinions are appreciated.
