    Default Tabulating Assembly Drawings

Is it possible to tabulate an assembly drawing. We use our drawings for multiple assemblies and would like to be able to tabulate the BOM for different configurations. Is it possible in Inventor 2008?

    Thanks, Michael

It sounds like I-Assemblies would do what you need.

If you create an I-Assembly (which will let you substitute different parts in an assembly for example), you can show a table showing how many of each part belong in a configuration.

A short explanation I know, but that should help point you in the right direction.
