Default Highlighting objects in a viewpoint report format

When I export a clash report as viewpoints the objects that are highlighted red in the original result, default back to the color in the model. Is there a setting that allows each of the viewpoints created to highlight the objects in conflict as it does in the clash detection results?

I cannot figure this one out either. Anyone know if their is a setting to show the highlighted collisions in the viewpoints report?

This is frustrating for me too. I think that since the viewpoints are views of the model and not a part of the clash detective module, you can't have them show graphically the same as the clash detective result. Hopefully in future revisions they'll allow this to happen for us.

I agree! I just got off the phone with the Project Manager and he wants to be able to "toggle" the results of the clash-generated-viewpoint OR he wants the viewpoints to appear as they were generated through clash detective.

I've published a NWD with clash-viewpoints, as well as generated a clash report that "DIM's other" in order to see the clashing members. I'm not really sure how else to go about this ::shrugs::

There is no workaround for this and unfortunately it has not changed for 2010.
