    Default MTEXT text overwrites

    When typing in mtext, if I have to insert text between existing text the text overwrites the existing, I know there is a variable somewhere to fix this I just can't find it any help would be greatly appreciated

    Or just click again with the beam (I) cursor where you want to start the new text. The existing text should become de-highlighted (what a nasty word) and you're in insert mode.
