Default How to place a default profile view style so that it is easily called

I get drawings from a colleague and they do not have a profile view style I like. Thus I have to drag and drop from another drawing into the one I am using. I would rather just go to the default profile view style list and pick the one I want without loading the other drawing and dragging and dropping etc.
I don't know where the default profile view style list is or how I place the style I like into it.
    Any help greatly appreciated.

AFAIK. Civil3d styles only exist in the dwg file, there's not a separate 'repository' outside a DWG

I bet someone smart could make a lisp routine you could run that would grab specific styles from a specific drawing stored in a specific place, but as cadtag mentioned it's drawing specific so you're not going to get around it without some sort of command, routine, or workflow.

Unless you can consider a reference template as a 'repository'.
