Repeating Details

I would like to see repeating details show up as model information too, or have an option to. This is a great tool that should not just be restricted as view specific (detail info).

We have an example where we would like to do a repeating concrete stencil pattern on a site plan, but would then like the same pattern to show up on a slab plan and landscaping plan. We could copy the info to each view, but that would be bad practice as we would be duplicating data.

It would also be great to be a able to repeat family components too. Think of it as a quick array tool. Imagine being able to run a row of bollards along the boundary of a car yard, or a row of bushes, and have it kept as one object. I think it would be a bit more flexible and easier to use.

For detail items that show in multiple views - group the details and place the group in each view. Editing any one will update all the views.

The array tool does create a group of object(?) for repeating families. However for your bollards - you might want to use arailing. The bollard would just be a balustrade.
