    Default Brick courses in elevations

Our buildings are brick with a base, field, and accent stripes. Here's the question:

I've always taken the time to create a wall style with each accent stripe, then field, then accent, then field, etc. etc. Since I'm not doing renderings anymore, is there a better way to show the brick coursing on my elevations? Should I just create the elevation and do a pline with a thickness for the accent stripe, or would it be better to create the wall style like it should be and edit the hatch lineweights to show the accent brick? Is there another way to do it?

What we've done is create a "shaded" pen and apply a solid hatch pattern over the top to make them stick out. Then we key note each one. We also label them in the wall sections.

So you just do that in the elevations right? It would save a lot of work not having to create every accent band. Thanks David.

Well that was one way I've seen it done. On another project I've seem them only show the corse lines that were the accent strip brick and a thicker line for the control joint. The field brick pattern wasn't shown. They would just key note the area.
