    Default Corridor Boundary

Any ideas how I should go about controlling where my corridor "boundary" is located. If you look at the attached image, I want my roadway corridor to start at the existing face of curb.
So, the right side would start before the left side does. Is this controlled with a corridor surface boundary?

Yes, on the Boundaries tab of your Corridor properties.

ok..... I added the boundary with a pline, rebuilt the corridor and rebuilt the corridor surface and it appears that C3D is not stopping at the boundary. Any ideas?

Are you saying that you added the boundary using the "Add from polygon..." option on the Boundaries tab? Or did you try adding a boundary directly to the surface?

If you added the boundary to the surface, try adding it as a corridor boundary instead. There is a bug with surface boundaries, where they only apply to data that is in the surface when the boundary is added. I'm guessing that this bug means that if you add a boundary directly to the surface, C3D will ignore it when you rebuild your corridor.

Yes, I added the boundary using the "add from polygon". I have also tried adding it to the actual surface with no luck. I have reviewed some of the live meetings and it seems as though I may need to create an additional alignment in that area to get the corridor to do what I want. There doesnt seem to be a lot of flexibility with the standard assemblies. It really makes it tough to manipulate the program.
