Okay how in the world do you delete parcels? I've tried the erase command, looked for a right click delete in toolspace and looked under the help menu. The help menu only tells you how to edit the parcel.
This stinks!!

Depends on how it was created, if you create them from polyline objects you can just erase them then renumber, if you use any other method to create them you need to edit the subenitities.
Well, first of all, you cannot delete a parcel. Parcels cannot be created or deleted. Parcel segments can be created and deleted but not the actual parcels themselves. When parcel segments enclose an area, a parcel is defined. If you have parcel segments that enclose an area and you don't want a parcel there, you are out of luck. However, you can simply choose not to see the parcel area label. Create an area label style that displays nothing and then assign that label style to that label and by golly, "no more parcel".
You can' t delete a parcel but you can move them to another site then delete the site you moved them two. I often create a site called eraseme and move unwanted parcels for periodic deletion.
