Total number of sheet per discipline on title block

How can I place a number of architectural sheet on the title block? We use to have the total number of sheets next to the sheet number on the title block. For instance sheet a101 of 10

I'm not sure if you can make the total number of sheets fill in automatically in the title block or not. What I would do is just make the total number of sheets either an instance parameter, or a type parameter (if you use the same title block for all your architectural sheets), and then just fill in that total number right before you print.

The only way to do it normally in Revit is to make a shared parameter that is a manual type in. This won't, of course, update automatically.

Don't know if you know any programming, but I think you could fairly easily create a program through the API that counts the sheets and updates the parameter at least every time you save the project. That's with 2008, you may be able to do even better with the 2009 API...
