Default Sheet Set Manager alt pens & plotter

This could work the same as FONTALT but for plotters & ctb or stb files in the Sheet Set Manager.

We get a lot of drawing sets in from the field that need plotted, some of these sets have up to 200 drawings in them. Most of the sets we get in have not been etransmited, this makes plotting these drawings a huge pain.

If you had the ability to select all the drawings in the sheet set manager then select the plotter & pen file to use, these could be plotted very easily.

Anyone else think this would be handy? or already have an easy workaround?

Have the people on the other end use eTransmit. I see no need for this, other than simple communication.

In Publish one already has the ability to assign
the same Named Page Setup to each Layout tab.
Note you can not use a model space Page Setup
on a Paper Space Layout Tab and the opposite
is also true. Long story short you can do what you
want to do. One could also use Batch Drawing converter
    to do this task.
Or if the goal is to plot the drawings have them send DWF files.

Although, communication issues aside, there are times that
this ALTCTB or whatever name it gets would have some
usefulness. Because even if the sender used E-transmit
or included the CTB/STB files they used, you may not have
that same plot device at you disposal, and having the NONE
device substituted by default is sort of lame. The user should
be able to assign a default alternate plote device other than none.
So good communication aside, being able to chose the alternate plot
device would be an equaly good idea to implement.
