    Default Automatic palette

Description: The ability to create a palette what automatically adds tools from a source drawings styles

How Used: We have style master drawings for each project, and all model files within that project are synchronized to the style master drawing.

The style master is also used to create a project tool palette for all to use.

It’s a real laborious process to create and update tools in a shared palette from a master drawing (the process seems to have many pointless steps)

What would be great would be the ability to set a palette to automatically add / update and remove tools from the style master drawing so all users always have the current full project tool set to hand

    Feature Affinity: Palettes and synchronization

    Default Re: Automatic palette

OK - I've though a bit more about this...

... Essentially an Automatic palette would show all style objects from a source drawing - when a new one is added it would automatically appear on the palette.

But perhaps there could be a tick box in style manager called 'Don't put on palette' so if there was the odd style you didn't want on a palette you could stop it displaying.

Also, there could be a button in style manager called - create automatic palette which would do the setup of the palette based on the drawing you had open.

theres got to be an easier way of doing automatic palettes than the current method...
