You can change your view range on your RCP to be sure the cut plane is actually cutting the door or edit the family, go to the ceiling view and add symbolic lines to represent it. Remember that if you don't want to see the door model showing on your RCP views you can select them on a 3D view, go to Visibility and change them to don't show on Plan/RCP views. Then you just add symbolic lines to show the door the way you want on these views.

I tried that but I still didn't have any luck. I changed the visibility of my extruded door panel to only show up on the left/right and front, back. Then I added the symbolic lines. I tried checking and unchecking the "show only if instance is cut" selection box under visibility but the lines still show up on the RCP.
I set my cut plane to 4' and my view range to level 2 in my RCP. I am trying to remove the door panel from the RCP view. I set the solid extrusion (panel) visibility not to show up in the floor plan/RCP views. I then traced my extrusion with symbolic lines. I thought that this setup would hide the extrusion since plan/ RCP was unchecked and hide the symbolic lines because they are at reference level in the RCP but show them in the floor plan view. Our office standard on RCP's is to only show a rectangle in the wall to represent the door head.

Adjust your View Range so that your cut plane is passing through the doors, then control visibility of door subcategories in Visibility Graphics. Turn off visibility of every part except what you want to see: frames, openings, etc.
Sounds like you just want to see the opening, so just turn doors off all together... You still get the opening in the wall...
Thank you all very much. I thought about it last night and what Nancy said popped in my head. I don't know what I was think when I was trying to control the visibility in the family instead of controlling it through visibility graphics.
Hey all, I made a video to help show the steps on how you can show a door in a Reflected Ceiling Plan in Revit. Enjoy!
