    Default 3DS MAX - Windfarm

This is more for fun than work, but I thought it could be used for something down the road. Crits welcome:

Whoa! Sorry, but I forgot a few things before the questions start coming:
    1. the water geometry was created with Dreamscape (kudos to Mark Kauffman for walking me through that)
    2. V-ray with HDRI GI and environment.
I may throw a few more details in it like a flock of sea gulls (not the 80's band)

That's okay, you can throw the band into the turbines -- nobody'll care.

Nice work! Just one comment: it looks like the sun is the orang-ish part of the sky in the background, but the light seems to be coming from in front of the wind farm... otherwise, looks great!

That has occured to me as well. the main light source for the HRD is where the light is coming from and that little glow is just right of that. I may flip the HDRI so it's not so confusing, but then I'd lose the "perspective effect" of the clouds. I do have a newer version that I'll post soon. Few more details and slight camera shift.

    Thanks for the nice words!

Very cool...my only comments would be to throw some motion blur and a bit of depth of field.
    Good images.
