Default Shading density in Mech and Elec views

We need the ability to control how dark the linked architectural file prints in mechanical and electrical views. Our sheets look great on screen, but when we go and print, the background comes out too faded. The only way I see around this problem at the moment is to change the view to a coordinated view.

Visibility Options -> Revit Link -> Go to "custom" -> Change Disipline to Architectural (not "by hosted view")

This will change the architectural model to an architectural discipline, removing the halftone which is the result of an electrical/mechanical view. However, this will now default your arch model to your architectural category object styles, which will now need to each be set to what you want the background to be.
