Delete duplicate entities

We received a file from a client and it appears each entity has an identical duplicate... same x,y,z,/layer/color... We could eliminate the duplicates by erasing all via crossing then removing each entity one-by-one selection process - but that might kill my drafter.
Any ideas on how to remove duplicate entities would be greatly appreciated.

If they are lines, arcs, and circles; use the OVERKILL command. Just make sure PEDITACCEPT is set to 0.

If it's blocks and such, then you're probably stuck doing it one by one.
