    Default Trees invisible in Render?

Ok. I did a small site plan RA 2009. Drop the M-Tree** component and the RPC Shrub. Hit render and.... voila!!! Only the RPC component is rendered. The trees are missing (even though its visible in the hidden line view).
Are the M-Tree* not compatible with mental ray? can anybody please confirm?

    Try this:

Symptom: The 3D view includes plants and trees, but they do not display in the rendered image.

Issue: This problem can occur when you render an image in a project that was created using Revit 2008 (or an earlier release), and the plants were defined using AccuRender procedures. Revit 2009 no longer supports AccuRender procedures.

Solution: Edit the plant family properties to specify a render appearance. Then render the image again. See Specifying a Render Appearance for an RPC Family.

    Thanks I will try that.

But in fairness to the new user or convert ( just speaking for others specially those coming from ArchiCad. It just giving them more reason to runt on ).

Autodesk should have updated the library for RA2009.
