I searched forever trying to figure out how to change the thumb button on a mouse to be the OSNAP menu. All of the solutions I found were in regards to earlier releases by editing the menu files, etc. But I finally found one regarding an easier explanation of the newer releases of AutoCAD Architecture and just thought I should share. I’m using ADT 2006 in this example, but it should work for the newer releases also.
I got this information from Lynn Allen’s blog entitled The Best AutoCAD Hip Tip Ever! I just changed the directions to be according to this specific case for ease of reference. But the article is about changing the F1 key to be Cancel so that it doesn’t bring up the Help menu. It’s a very useful handout in itself. So I have provided a link to it also:

I can't figure out how to get the screen captures to show up in the post, so I have attached a word document with the directions and pictures in it.
I hope this provides some very useful info to people and saves someone the frustration that I had trying to figure it out.
